Creative Mornings PDX Presents: Carl Alviani

Written By Janessa Knodt | Aug 7, 2017

Carl Alviani is a writer and strategist who helps creative organizations get their narratives in order, and tells stories about the artifacts and consequences of design to the larger world. Over the past decade, he’s written and co-authored articles for WIRED, Fast Company, Harvard Business Review, Gizmodo, Forbes, Quartz and Portland Monthly, on topics ranging from housing policy and urban infrastructure to service design and the ethics of interaction design – essentially, any situation where creative decisions effect human experience.

He also develops content strategy, web copy, video and design fiction for creative agencies (Ziba, Smart, XPLANE, Live|Work, Bresslergroup, Context Partners) and runs workshops on collaborative design and narrative strategy for the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design.
