Hammer Museum’s Family Day: Art for Good
Make art, make an impact. Hammer Museum’s free, annual family festival fills the museum with art, music, improv, performances, and more.
Artist-led workshops include making manifesto tea towels for a collective artwork that will be donated to a nonprofit organization, a composting workshop that involves repurposing your food waste and walking away with a living sculpture, speaking up for those who aren’t always heard, by responding to wordsmiths like Walt Whitman and Kendrick Lamar, and even transforming into an empathy superhero by making a costume.
