PechaKucha Vol. 28 Childhood Stories

Written By Hannah Risser-Sperry | Nov 5, 2018

“I really love being human. But some days I really wish I could be a fairy.” – Greta, Age 4

For Volume 28 we are going to travel back in time to revisit our childhoods – that special period that most everyone couldn’t wait to escape, only to consistently desire to have back.

From bell bottoms to slap bracelets, first loves to first fights, and make-believe opportunities to real-life possibilities, which moments imprinted on you? Which patterns of behavior shaped you into the adult you are today?  How is your work greatly influencing or being influenced by the next generation?

We’ll learn the foundational stories of some of the area’s most interesting thinkers and doers. First businesses, early talents, defining experiences, greatest influences, and revealing habits – they’re all fair game. The act of traveling back can help illuminate the way forward. Join us on the journey.
