CONTENT Rides Again
In June 2015, we launched a zine. Maybe you remember it?
Well, we kept it going as-originally-designed for seven issues. But in the year 2019, we’ve changed up its format a bit.
Less a zine, more a newspaper. Less punk, more yuppie. But like… in a cool way.
But seriously, we try to keep things a little analog in this digital world. It’s why we still send birthday cards to our candidates every month, meet up with placed candidates for check-ins, and bend an elbow with you each December for our holiday party. So why not keep it going for our wonderful blog posts?
Our writers are world class, and we love featuring their pieces on our site every week. But we also love to sit down with a cup of coffee and a newspaper in our hands.
If you enjoy that, too, get in touch with us for a copy. It’s all over the place in Portland, LA, Boise, Austin, and San Francisco, but we can send you one if you haven’t come across it.
Issue Eight features the following pieces:
Fired. Not Hired. by Steve Potestio
6 Bits of Career Advice I’d Give to My Scared 21-Year-Old Self by Stacy Nguyen
Stop Begging for Mentorship by Val Brains
On Art Education by Melina Bishop
The Dark Side of Empathy in the Workplace by Annie Goodman
